This is a stunning GT-R in every respect. The cars original bodywork is unmarked and has not been modified, other than for a nice bonnet lip spoiler, the alloys are the original Nissan items in good condition with good tyres and the interior is in good all round condition with little or no wear. A GT-R edition 5 piece mat set protects the floor and the original titanium GT-R key is present.The engine has just been rebuilt by Vine Place and has Wisco forged pistons, steel head gasket and up rated bearings and oil pump. Although the car is running the standard boost, this gives a strong base should the new owner want to up rate the car. The radiator has been up rated to a large capacity alloy unit and Hero High Performance ground cables are fitted as are Samco hoses. The gearshift is a NISMO solid shift, and the car has a sports exhaust and Razo pedals and gear knob. The suspension on the vehicle is JIC coilovers with adjustable ride height and damping. The car is at present set up with everyday driving in mind and is therefore firm but not uncomfortable and has amazing levels of grip and handling. Brakes are Brembo all round and the car has factory option four wheel independent channel anti lock braking system. Security is taken care of with a Toad AI101 remote central locking alarm system with anti-hijack and the vehicle has privacy glass. This GT-R is a standard looking car in super condition but with some intelligent improvements throughout.

The R33 GT-R was introduced in January 1995 as a replacement car to the massively successful R32 GT-R that had ceased production in 1994. A much larger vehicle it used similar specification mechanical components of its predecessor, but is a true 4 seat car with a large luggage compartment that just happens to be unbelievably quick! The engine is the RB26DETT straight six, this means Race Bred 2600cc Double cam Electronic injection Twin Turbocharged, which officially puts out 276 BHP, though in actual fact in standard form is more powerful than that, rumoured to be around 330BHP. The lower published figure was Nissan's response to the need to abide by a gentleman's agreement between the Japanese auto manufacturers not to release a car to the public exceeding 280 ps (276 hp) of power output. The turbos feature a steel/ceramic design that allows them to spool up quicker than a conventional turbo, reducing lag. The GT-R is 4 wheel drive using a highly technical, yet tough and reliable system called the ATTESA-ETS system. The ATTESA-ETS system uses two G-Sensors mounted underneath the centre console, which feed lateral and longitudinal inputs to the ECU. The ECU would then control the feed of power by allowing a limited amount to be delivered to the front wheels via an electronic torque split converter. Another hi-tech driver aid on the GT-R is Super HICAS 4 wheel steer. This system activates at speeds higher than 50 Klms/hr and causes the rear wheels to turn in the same direction as the front to improve turn-in in corners, and features front and rear yaw rate control. All R33 GT-Rs have a Getrag 5 speed manual gearboxes and all other than around 100 cars are grey imports. As with any other Nissan car, Nissan give full parts and service back up and spares are available through any Nissan dealer, as well as through hundreds of specialist suppliers. Brakes on the GT-R are Brembo with 4 pots calipers front and 2 pot calipers rear The Skyline GT-R was tuned at Nürburgring and held the unofficial lap record for road legal cars for some time, being considerably faster than some much more expensive and powerful machinery from the likes of Ferrari and Porsche. Standard specification of the GT-R includes, drivers air bag, power steering, air conditioning and climate control, electric windows, central locking, a two piece rear spoiler with adjustable wing to increase or decrease down force, tinted windows, 17 alloy wheels, centre console and excellent sports seats. Probably no car hailing from Japan has as many tuning parts manufactured for it as the Nissan Skyline and the RB26 engine can be tuned to huge power, with modified cars regularly making 600-700BHP and the top vehicle over 1200BHP! A standard or mildly tuned GT-R makes a fantastic everyday car that is roomy, comfortably and safe to drive as well as extremely fast.
